Hailing from Austin, Texas, Chris Ray carries the soul of country music in his sand-paper smooth voice and the grit of a roadhouse troubadour in his guitar. 

For the last 20 years, Chris has cut his teeth in Texas dive bars and dancehalls, where he learned to woo crowds with tales of heartache, hard whiskey, and highways that stretch forever. But love (or maybe fate) rerouted his journey when he followed his flame across the Atlantic to settle in Kent, UK. Armed with a guitar and a stubborn Texan pride, he quickly has become an unlikely fixture in British pubs, transforming snug corners into neon-lit slices of the American South.  

His live shows are equal parts rowdy and heartfelt, peppered with humor about life as a Texan in a land of tea and pints.  

Though far from Texas, Chris’ music stays rooted in tradition, echoing legends like Haggard and Jones, along side Country Music’s hottest new acts like Luke Combs and Cody Johnson, a testament to country music’s universal reach.
